Quality Control Raw Material Specialist

Currently seeking a Raw Material Specialist in Morrisville, NC. Details for the position are as follows:

• Pay: $35-42/hr.
• 3-month assignment with possibility for extension or conversion based on performance and budget.

Responsibilities:

• Work with cross-functional teams to define and justify testing requirements for raw materials, consumables, and support materials.
• Identify and establish relationships with external GMP laboratories for material testing.
• Coordinate procurement, validation, and sample submission for raw material testing.
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with GMP and regulatory standards.
• Review and verify raw material documentation, including Certificates of Analysis (COAs).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree with 3+ years of raw material testing and qualification experience is Required.
• Good understanding of GMP and relevant regulatory requirements is Required.
• Familiarity with QMS (quality management systems) is Required.
