Job Description:
- Pay: 35.00-39.00/hr.
- Length of Assignment: 1 year contract to start with potential for extension or conversion.
- Job Must be able to work a hybrid schedule of 4 days in office/1 remote; may be 5 days in the office when projects are busy.
- MUST HAVE BS or MS in Food Science or Chemical Engineering with food product development experience. We are looking at someone who has 2 to 5 years of work experience.
- As a part of the ingredient research team, gathers information on new and Client ingredients, studies ingredient interactions and functionalities.
- Conducts bench-top experiments, formula calculations, and develops prototypes for product tastings and sensory testing across a variety of KDP brands and products.
- Interprets test results, writes technical reports, and effectively communicates information within the organization.
- Fully understands R&D functions and project management process to lead projects.
- Partners with various functions of R&D (Sensory, Nutrition, Regulatory, Flavor Technology, Chemistry, Process Engineering, and Technical Services).
