- Location: Cambridge, MA
- This will be a 6-month contract.
- Rate: $45-51 an hour.
- The successful candidate will contribute to experimental design and be responsible for independently executing in vitro experiments to support screening, optimization and validation of cell therapy products.
- This includes generating and characterizing Client cell therapy products and performing complex research lab assignments. Following experiment completion, the candidate will be responsible for data analysis and interpretation, data presentation to key stakeholders, and play an active role in the subsequent discussions leading to decisions and next steps.
- The candidate will also be accountable for ensuring the quality of the data and complying with record keeping requirements.
- Perform aseptic cell culture techniques on tumor and various immune effector cell types (T cells, NK cells, and other immune cells); including thawing, passaging, counting, banking
- Run in vitro cell based assays (cytotoxicity assays, flow cytometry) in screening format with various instrumentation (Incucyte, Symphony, Luminex); using automation (384 well, auto-mated pipetting, liquid handling)
- Analyze experimental results with appropriate software (Excel, Prism, Flow Jo)
- Bachelors in a scientific discipline (or equivalent) with 4+ years experience, or Masters in a scientific discipline with 1+ years’ experience. PhDs will be considered overqualified.
- Must have strong cell culture experience – ideally working with Immune cells
- Must have some Biotech pharma experience
